Selected Works - von Aphex Twin bis Jody Wisternoff... (endlosrille 03-04/2009)

Eine "endlosrille" mit Spannweite von 1985 bis heute - und ist dabei nicht einmal eine Retrospektive! So soll es auch sein, denn an dieser Stelle geht es ja im Normalfall um neue Releases oder auch - wie im Fall von Aphex Twin's "Selected Ambient Works 85-92" - um Reissues. Einer meiner Lieblingstracks "Heliosphan" von diesem für Aphex Twin-Verhältnisse recht zugänglichen Album stellt auch den ersten Videostream für dieses Posting.

Neben neuen Podcasts auf Fabric (nach einer längeren Pause mit Jazzanova!), Resident Advisor und DE:BUG klingen die Sets von Chloé (auch als "Limited Edition", drei weitere in der "Live at Robert Johnson"-Reihe werden wohl folgen) und John Tejada vielverspechend. Der zweite Videostream dürfte vielen bekannt vorkommen - erst 2008 veröffentlicht wurde jedoch der gelungene "Can't Go Home"-Mix von Audion: Jaydee - Plastic Dreams. (Videoquelle: YouTube)
